Bish Mubarak is one of the single most innovative businessmen in the energy industry—an assertion he has proven through his track record. Accumulating years of experience in the industry has been helpful, of course, but he also had a solid foundation to work with in the very beginning, attending one of the best universities in Canada. The energy industry was deregulated in the late 1990s. At that time there was a lot of confusion concerning how businesses were expected to structure themselves, deliver products, what prices to charge, etc. One of the people who stepped up and took a leading role in the energy industry was Bish Mubarak. He was able to create a profitable business by using his innovative spirit and the business principles he’d learned in school and in his short time in the business world.

Mubarak has founded and run quite a few multi-million dollar businesses operating in the energy industry. However, this is neither his highest aim nor his purest joy. Bish Mubarak is most passionate about the mentoring and training of other people in the energy industry. He has had the opportunity to work with and mentor over fifty-thousand individuals over the last fourteen years. The vast majority of these people have chosen to remain in the deregulated energy industry thanks to Bish Mubarak’s mentoring system, which he calls the “Journey System”.
